A Little more about who we are

Liza started practicing in November 2017 after her own son was in and out of hospital for two and half years due to a chronic genetic disease. This was where her passion started to grow into the business idea of Hands On Nutrition.

She then studied Nutritional Therapy and Iridology not only to help her son heal, but to make a difference in her local community and subsequently South Africa. Today she manages both her children’s health and chronic genetic disease through natural bio available supplementation, nutrition and integrative medicine.

Her philosophy is that all diseases initiates in the gut. “If you can heal the gut you can heal and prevent chronic diseases.”

“Integrative Medicine recognizes the holistic and unique nature of human-beings, which encompasses physio-energetic information systems. It investigates the multi-factorial causes of disease. In this approach the practitioner and the sick individual form a team working towards an integrated protocol of management best suited for that person. The priority is to support health using the least invasive and most natural approach; this does not exclude symptomatic treatment of disease, where appropriate.”
